I became a member of Hartlepool Camera Club in 2015 after I had discovered my passion for landscape photography. In 2016 I claimed first place in the HCC Stephen Emerson Memorial (Scapes) competition, with my picture 'Next Stop Timanfaya'. I am a regular visitor to the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales, and in 2018 I achieved a long time ambition of visiting Iceland and seeing the Northern Lights. The picture 'Gulfoss' won me first place in the 2018 Scapes competition. Hope you enjoy my pictures.
